Corporate History
We started as one of the first batch of Brokers when the IRDAI Broker Regulations first came into existence. S & S was incorporated on 27th, November, 2002 and commenced business on 10th March, 2003 on obtaining the IRDAI License. We are successfully running our second decade of operations with enormous support and guidance from our clients, shareholders, Insurers and IRDAI.

The Board of Directors include experts with global recognition and members with over 35 years of experience in the Indian Insurance Industry. Our key personnel have been involved in varied tasks including new Insurance product development, Risk Management, Assessment of Loss and Liabilities, claim processing of over 10 crore INR, etc. The team is a technically strong in the very vast insurance sector from insuring ships, rockets to Renewable Energy like windmill. And are also experienced in conducting seminars with Surveyors Association of India, CII, etc. for our technical expertise!

A Chartered Insurance Broker – C.I.I, London, our Chairman has three decades of experience in leading Public Sector Company and n General Insurance Industry. He has conceived and drafted an innovative policy for Non-Conventional Energy sector, which was well received in the Market since 2000. His expertise gained through the practice in Indian and Global Markets will be of immense help to the prospective clients - entrepreneur / corporate sector / Insurers in the emerging scenario. He has experience in handling claim disputes amongst Corporate / Public Sector(s) and Insurer(s) and has resolved them to their satisfaction and achieved win-win position to all the concerned.
Mr. A. Rajagopalan, B.E., A.I.I.I. – Director
As a Mechanical Engineer, Ex-Manager of a public sector Insurance company with 30 years of experience in Insurance as risk engineer, mega project risk underwriter and claims manager.With additional 7 years’ experience in Engineering,Power Project and Public Works Departments , he is having wide exposure and expertise that is comparable to very few Insurance professionals in the market. He has also undergone training in Advanced Engineering Insurance and Risk Management under the auspices of Munich Re-Insurance Company at MUNICH, GERMANY.
Ms. Janani Karthick, B.E. - Director
An alumnus of College of Engineering, Guindy, has been with the Board since 2012 and is providing full time support to the company through fresh initiatives in strategic marketing.
